About Me

The photo is of one of my work gardens. I won't show any photos of my home gardens for fear the Master Gardeners will revoke my certification if I do. I live with my husband, my daughter, one dog, two cats, several dustballs...

    The Grocery Store

Hubby had another seizure last night, at about 7:30pm, while we were in the grocery store. He'd taken his medication at 7pm, his usual time. It was pretty mild-he just started opening & closing his hands and staring at them. He was also saying "mmm," like he normally does just after a seizure. We were walking, and he kept going until I stopped-then he did too. It's the first time I've seen him have a seizure without the "chewing noise." Also he seemed confused just before it happened-he went into the lightbulb aisle and when I asked him why he said he was looking for some kind of switch for the dining room light, but he ended up putting nightlight bulbs in the cart. He had the seizure maybe 20 seconds later, just after we left that aisle. We increased the medicine on Monday 10/31. How long before the higher dose will have an effect? Does the lack of chewing noise mean the seizures are becoming less severe, even if they aren't going away completely? One good thing about doing this blog is I can keep track of all this stuff for when we go back to the doctor.
